Finally the finished product and I think just in time.

Changing Table
Well I'm getting there. Too many interuptions on Monday to get things finished, however it will be done tomorrow.

Changing Table
Friday morning and as you can see we've made some progress. Hopefully if all goes well I'll get the drawer fronts made today and start the fininshing process.
Changing Table
Well there is a new grandchild on the way so I was asked to make a new changing table. Looked around the shop and came up with enough wood to do the job. I had to do a lot of glue ups but managed to get enough to cut the parts on the CNC and get ready to start the assembly process. I will start that tomorrow while we're carving a few pieces of eye candy to apply to the finished product.

If your going to have a table with a ships wheel you have to have a boat.

We literally made this table top for a customer from some old douglas fir 2X6's he had in his work shop. The pedestals are a combination of spruce and cedar, and the feet are ash. The ships wheel inlay is cherry. As I said, just a bunch of stuff he had.

One of the good things about the sign business is you get to help other people grow there business. This is the 2nd sign I've made for this business. They recently relocated and needed an additional sign. This is made from a recycled plastic engrave board and requires lttle or no maintenance.

When you live on an Island you have to be versatile in what you do. Since there is a cemetery on the Island there are occasionally needs for markers. Stone monuments are expensive and not readily available. I was asked to do this one by a family member because they wanted it quick. They were happy with it and it was very economical when compared to stone.

These custom made engraved wood valances work well with a "rustic" decor . Any type of scene is possible. This particular valance is a western scene all done by engraving, but could also be done with raised carvings. Something more to add to our E-Commerce web store.

Well we managed to get a little carving done this summer. This bear cocktail table is approximately 18 inches round and carved from ash. It was then sent to a local artist on the Island for the painting. We will put it on the website for sale and its a one of a kind.
